About Us

HISTORY

On March 2002, Woodpecker Landscape Design Co was born. Starting the entire operation on limited funds, Jackie Swartz crafted the perfect business model. Upon expanding over the years, residential landscape design & construction became the fundamental sources of our growing company. Adjusting to the demand, restructure was needed to allow quality landscaping services and a way to introduce the newest technologies in the landscaping industry.  Woodpecker Landscape Design & Construction continues the proud tradition of quality landscape services while utilizing the latest equipment, and techniques to provide our clients with the highest standards in the industry.

EXPERIENCE

Our experience evolves from hard work and experience since 1995. Today, our experience and countless completed projects, are testimony to our continued commitment to excellence. We employ only the best personnel to manage and work each project. Woodpecker Landscape Design Co has over 30 years combined experience in all levels of landscaping including
design, lighting, irrigation, plants and construction.

BONDING & INSURANCE

Woodpecker Landscape Design Co is bonded, insured and licensed. We are members of LANTA, BBB, and the Calgary Horticulture Society. Our team is prepared to start immediately on any commercial or residential landscape project, however, because of our short summer seasons in Calgary, we work on a first-come basis and we only take on enough work that we can complete in one season.
